Academic Leadership Team
The Academic Leadership Team is responsible for a range of whole-school roles, including teaching and learning, curriculum development and student support. It meets on a weekly basis.
Mrs Dinah Hawtree – Principal
Mrs Hawtree studied Business and Finance at university in France, and always envisaged a career in this field. However, following a spell teaching English in Brussels, she decided to pursue a career in education, and returned to the UK where she gained her PGCE. Over the next 12 years she taught a number of subjects including Business, Law and French in 3 schools across the UK, and also studied for the NPQH (Headship qualification). In 2007 she moved overseas again and has spent the last 10 years leading international schools across three continents. Mrs Hawtree is a keen rugby and badminton player, and in her spare time she enjoys scuba diving, reading biographies and autobiographies, and exploring new places with her husband, Robert.
