Head of Years 1 and 2 Ms Lucy Howett
Ms Lucy worked in the university sector in the UK before moving to Thailand. She was the first Head Teacher at the Rayong English Programme School (REPS), before transferring to work at GIS. She holds a BA, BEd and MA and is passionate about working with young children. A mother of three, she spends her spare time training and riding horses and sailing.

Mr Antonio Stan
Mr Stan joined GIS in 2013, after previously teaching for 12 years in various schools in Thailand.
Besides his focus on catering to the needs of young learners, he also enjoys fitness, a passion he shares with other students during extracurricular activities.
Ms Anna Mae Flores
Ms Anna Flores joined GIS in 2013. She has a Bachelor of Elementary Education degree and has 11 years of teaching experience. She has been living and teaching in Thailand for seven years. She has also been working as a Year 1 teacher for four years now. In her spare time, she enjoys reading manga, watching comedy movies and travelling to new countries.
Khun Nik – TA
K.Nik has been working in GIS for 13 years. For the first two years she worked at the school's boarding house as a boarding parent. After that she moved to work as an assistant in Foundation for 5 years. Then she moved to Primary and worked for Year 1 and Year 2. K.Nik has been on many training courses and always wants to do her best to help students learn. In her free time she likes walking, gardening and making new friends.
Khun Pui – TA
Khun Pui has worked at GIS for eight years. She has been a TA in Reception and Nursery classes. Before, she worked at Laem Chabang International Terminal, in the HR department. She worked there for one year and then left to start a family. When her children were grown up she applied to work again, at GIS. She has two daughters. Khun Pui loves to play and read with children. In her spare time, K.Pui helps to teach English to communities with her church. She loves to read books and spend time on the beach.
Mrs Jessica Ridpath
After living and teaching in Thailand from 2004 to 2009, Ms Jessica returned to her home country of Canada and worked in a First Nation school. She then returned to Thailand in 2013 with her family and joined us as a Reception teacher. Ms Jessica now teaches Year 1 and is involved in Primary PSHE as well as the GIS Global Action group. She holds Bachelor degrees in Education and Psychology. Passionate about global social and environmental issues, she also enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time with her family.
Khun Pom – TA
K.Pom is originally from Songkla in the south of Thailand. After graduating from Bangkok University she went to work at Eastern Star in the marketing office. She moved to GIS a few years later and has been here for 14 years. First she worked in Foundation, then she moved to Years 1 and 2. She loves movies and going to the temple and has a quiet and gentle personality. She loves working with children and also enjoys swimming, reading, travelling and shopping with her friends.
Khun Su – TA
K.Su joined GIS in March 2006. She was a Teaching Assistant in Foundation for five years before joining Years 1 and 2 and she has been a Teaching Assistant there for six year now. K.Su has a degree in Sociology and Anthropology. She enjoys meditating as well as exploring other places, especially the forest.
