Shomit was awarded the IB Diploma with a total of 40 out of 45 points.

Shomit, who was Science Prefect in 2016-17, was awarded 7A*s and 3As following his IGCSE examinations.

Shomit is now studying at Nanyang Technology College in Singapore.

Ash has been awarded a total of 10 IGCSEs. Of these, 8 were A* grades and 2 were A grades.

Ash passed his IGCSE Mathematics (Extended) examination as a Year 10 student in 2017. He achieved an amazing 99 per cent in this examination — one of the best scores in the world!

Ash achieved 43 points for his IB Diploma at GIS and went on to study at Imperial College London.

Poleon is consistently ranked #1 in Thailand in his age group. Since the age of 10 he captains U18 and adult teams in Thai team championships winning several titles. He played some of the world’s most challenging Open Tournaments in over 20 countries winning his category in Orlando, Melbourne, Berlin, Vientiane, Stockholm and Johor Bahru. He represented Thailand in many World and regional championships, achieving several top10 positions in Asia, East Asia and ASEAN.

Bambi played internationally in more than 10 countries. She represented Thailand in many World, Asia and regional championships, achieving several Top10 positions in ASEAN and East Asia. She won several youth categories as well as adult lady categories, most notably the Thai Grand Prix 2017 at age 10. She consistently ranks as one of the best women in Thailand.

Jignil Shah

Jignil, who spent his entire education at GIS, was awarded the IB Diploma with a total of 40 out of 45 points. Jignil was the school’s Head Boy during 2016-17. He is now studying hotel management at the University of Houston, in the US.

Shilpi Dhar

Achievements: Academic

Shilpi is the youngest GIS student to ever be awarded the IB   Diploma. Her score of 44 out of 45 points is the highest-ever by a female student at GIS.

Shilpi, who was the school’s Head Girl in 2016-17,  is also the youngest  student to pass an IGCSE. She was 13 years and 8 months old when she gained an ‘A’ grade for IGCSE English as a Second Language (ELS).

Shilpi is now studying medicine at University College London (UCL).

Jun Beom Chi

Attended: 2009-2017

Achievements: Academic

Jun Beom achieved 44 out of 45 points for his IB Diploma. This put him in the top 1 per cent of students worldwide. It is also the joint-highest ever score by a GIS student. He was also named Top in Thailand for IGCSE Music following the May 2015 examination session.
Jun Beom is now studying medicine at the University of California, Berkeley, in the US.
