Dear Parents, Caregivers, Friends and Family,
It was brilliant to be able to welcome back our students to the campus this week. The students were clearly delighted to be back in school and interacting with their friends again. For academic staff, it was also a wonderful sight to see the students face to face and not from just behind a screen.
It is imperative that as a community we remain vigilant and ensure that everyone follows the rules in place regarding keeping the school a Covid free environment.
Every year we wave goodbye to some of our brilliant teaching staff as they take the next step in their careers, either internationally or back in their home countries. I can’t thank the whole academic staff enough for their efforts this year but a special thank you and good wishes must go to Ms Laurence Cabanne, Ms Jenn Blais, Mr Andrew Reade, Mr Paul Normark, Mr Sean Dowling, Ms Claire Patterson, Mr Robert McGregor and Ms Tina Stevens. Thank you all for your contributions, dedication, support and guidance. Our students and our Garden family have been enriched by your time with us. We all wish you the best in the next stage of your careers.
Year 4 - DT & Maths
4G combined DT and maths this week by making their own geoboards. All the students worked very sensibly with the hammer and nails and were able to use their boards in maths to create a variety of quadrilaterals.
