At Garden International School Rayong, every student and staff member is part of one of our four Houses: Gecko (representing adaptability and teamwork), Eagle (symbolising vision and determination), Cobra (emphasising focus and resilience), or Tiger (highlighting courage and strength). This long-standing tradition creates a strong sense of belonging, uniting students from Nursery to IB2 and encouraging healthy competition, shared identity, and a positive school spirit.
The House calendar is packed with a variety of activities, including House MAD (Music, Art, and Drama), sports tournaments, quizzes, talent shows, and beach cleanups. Every student has the opportunity to participate, discover their strengths, and celebrate success together.
Each House is led by elected Captains, supported by a Senior Student Leader from IB1, a member of the Leadership Team, and staff from both Primary and Secondary. This team guides and mentors students, builds House spirit, and ensures events run smoothly, with regular meetings keeping student voices central.
House Points are awarded throughout the year for effort, teamwork, kindness, and achievement in the House Competitions. These competitions help students develop resilience, nurture one another’s potential, and celebrate success, thereby embodying the mission of Garden International School every day.
The year ends with a House Party for the winning House. This celebration of dedication, teamwork, and House pride leaves lasting memories and inspires students to carry these values into everything they do.
