Student Leadership

At GIS, we are very proud of the conduct and mature attitude of our IB students, who act as positive role models for our younger students, and the wider community. For those who wish to develop these skills further, there are opportunities for more formal leadership roles where students act as liaison between staff and students, promote positive growth within the school, and drive forward the positive change we all want to see at Garden. They are integral in helping the student body understand school policy and the School Development Plan, as well as lead key events in the school calendar. These individual roles are a great asset to applications when applying for places at university, and can help you to stand out against other applicants.
